PATCH WORK
Rapid floor patching mortar ideally suited for industrial floors and places wear resistance is required. It can be used for all type of concrete patchwork applications.

USAGE
- Tec R Floor RX can be used for both indoor and outdoor floor repair applications.
- The treated surface is capable of handling heavy traffic within a very short time and can be used for parking lots, loading bays and most of the heavy duty concrete floor patching applications.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Surface Preparation
The surface to be treated should be sound and free from dust, loose particles and reasonably free from oil/grease contamination. Cracks if any must be treated adequately before application.
Mixing
TecR Floor RX comes is pre-weighed 10Kg bag that requires only the addition of 2.2litres clean water and mixing before application. Do not add excess Water. For best results mix using a high speed drill fitted with a mixing paddle for about three minutes. At this point 6mm downgraded aggregates may be added, upto 1.2 times by weight of Floor RX depending upon the depth profile and type of application, to extend the mix. To ensure uniform performance mix each pack in one go. Do Not break up into smaller units. Wash off all mixing equipments immediately.
Application
Pour the mix in the prepared area and finish neatly using trowels. The patch can be sanded and/or polished if required. In case of flooring overlay/ epoxy underlay applications sufficient material required for the planned floor area to be covered should be made available at site. Mixing and application should proceed in a well coordinated manner. The homogenous mix should be applied over the prepared surface quickly ensuring that the entire mix is used up well within the pot life. The poured Mix should be spread using a serrated trowel ensuring uniform thickness and simultaneously ensuring that the required thickness is achieved. The wet mix should then be spike rolled thoroughly before the material loses its workability. Trowel marks and overlaps should be neatly Spike rolled ensuring removal of entrapped air. Sufficient trained manpower should be made available at site to ensure that spike o rolling is completed within ten minutes from pouring the mix. Avoid application at temperatures above 35° C or below 0 TM 15° C. Floor Expansion joints should continue through the Tec R Floor RX topping. Or the joints may be saw-cut later.
Post Application
Curing is not required and the treated surface may be put to use 30 minutes after application.

PRECAUTIONS
Direct contact with skin or eyes should be avoided. Use of gloves, goggles and other protective gear is mandatory. In case of accidental eye contact thorough water washing is advised. This should be followed up with professional medical assistance.
Storage and Shelf life
Tec Floor RX must be stored in cool, dry location. Shelf life is maximum of 1 year from date of manufacture in unopened package. Failure to comply with the recommended storage conditions may result in premature deterioration of the product or packaging.
CLEANING
Tools and equipments should be cleaned with water when the mix is in uncured state. Cured mix can only be removed mechanically.
