DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Surface Preparation
The surface should be sound, free of fine dust and laitance. The surfaces may be sanded with appropriate grades of emery sheets depending on the firmness of the substrate and the amount dirt to be removed. The surface to be treated should be free of oil, grease, algal growth, dust and loose particles. Water washing may also be done well before application. All surfaces must be moisture free dry before application. Presence of moisture will cause blisters in the finish coat. Use of acids/ alkali’s, detergents or other cleaning agents should be avoided unless it is required to remove oil contamination. In this case thorough water washing should follow detergent washing and the surface should be left to attain moisture free dryness. Concrete/ masonry substrates should have completed their curing period and should be moisture-free dry.
