DIRECTIONS FOR USE

The generally recommended dosage for TecMIX 700 is 1% of cementby weight.

Note

Under certain conditions the dosage rate maybe between 2-3% depending on the type of concrete required. 

Mortar mixing by Hand/ Machine: The cement- sand mix must first be blended thoroughly before sprinkling the correct quantity of TecR MIX 700 – Powder and mixing well. Premeasured quantity of water may then be addedto produce a cohesive mortar. 

Concrete mixing by Hand/ Machine: The sand- aggregate mix must first be blended thoroughly before adding cement and mixing well. The correct quantity of TecR MIX 700 – Powder must then be sprinkled and then mixed well. Pre- measured quantity of water may then be added to produce a cohesive concrete mix. 

The setting time of the concrete is affected by the chemical and physical composition of ingredients, temperature of the concrete and climatic conditions. For most concrete mix designs adding the TecR MIX 700 will have minimalor no effect on setting time. Concrete containing TECR MIX 700 may develop higher ultimate strength then plain concrete. Trial mixesshould be carried out under project conditions to determine setting time and strength of the concrete.

PRECAUTIONS

Direct contact with skin or eyes should be avoided. Use of gloves, goggles and other protective gear ismandatory. In case of accidental eye contact thorough water washing is advised. This should be followed upwith professional medical assistance. Although TecR MIX 700 is non-toxic it should not be swallowed. TecR MIX 700 is non-flammable. 

Storage and Shelf life

 As TecR Mix 700  is moisture sensitive. Store it at dry conditions. Store under cover, out of direct sunlight and protect from extremes of temperature. Shelf life is 12 months when stored as above. Failure to comply with there commended storage conditions may result in premature deterioration of the product or packaging.
