DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Surface Preparation
Remove all loose material from the wall surface with the help of emery stone, putty blade or wire brush and replaster it. The substrate should be clean, free from dust, grease and loose materials. Dry and absorbent surfaces should be moistened with clean water.
Mixing Procedure
Mix putty with 30-35% clean water slowly to make a paste. Stir continuously and allow the paste to stand for 10 minutes. Remix again for two minutes. The mixture is now ready to use.
Application
Dampen the surface with clean water. Using a steel trowel/blade apply the above mix to a thickness of 1 mm. Level and smoothen the surface. Apply the second coat after the first coat has fully dried & set. The thickness of each coat should not exceed 1mm; the thickness of all the coats should not exceed 1.5 mm.
Limitations
Do not directly apply on the fungus, moss affected areas. Do not apply directly on the dust, loosely bonded particles, oil, grease etc. affected surfaces.
Coverage
20 sft per kg. However, the coverage area will depend upon the quality of the substrate.
PRECAUTIONS
Mixing of TecR Valplast is very important and hence extreme care to be taken for proper through mixing with hand or mechanical stirrer in order to get best results. Substrate should be cured before applying TecR Valplast. It should not be rubbed strongly and harshly with emery paper, as it will decrease the water repellant properties of the product. The total thickness of the coats should not exceed more than 1.5mm.
Storage and Shelf life
TecR Valplast must be store in cool, dry location. Store under cover, out of direct sunlight and protect from extremes of temperature. Shelf life is maximum of 1 year from date of manufacture in unopened package. Failure to comply with therecommended storage conditions may result in premature deterioration of the product or packaging.
