DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Surface Preparation

All surfaces coming in contact with TecR Krackfiller must be free of dirt, oil, grime, curing compounds and other contaminants. Rout out the cracks with a mechanically operated groove cutter to form a neat groove and clean to be free of dust and loose particles. The grooves shall be maximum 6mm deep and 6mm wide and minimum 4mm deep and 4mm wide. The opened groove shall be wetted thoroughly using a bottle sprayer.

Mixing

Add 3-4 parts by volume of TecR Krackfiller to one part by volume of water. The quantity of Tec Krackfiller should be adjusted to prevent sagging depending on the type of application. Mixing should continue till a uniform mix of lump free consistency is achieved.

Application

TecR Krackfiller should be filled into the pre-wetted crack using a spatula or putty knife. Proper filling without air pockets should be ensured. The surface of the crack should be finished neatly ensuring that the contours of the substrate are matched.

Curing

Curing is vital for expansion of the filler material. The treatment should be cured adequately for a minimumperiod of 3 days. Curing membrane TecR Cure WB may be applied as an alternative to water curing.

Post Application

On setting the filled material may either protrude or sag depending on the depth of the crack being filled. In case the filler protrudes, the projection may be rubbed down using fine finish polishing stones. In case the filler sags, one more layer of TecR Krackfiller may be applied as soon as the first layer sets.

PRECAUTIONS

Direct contact with skin or eyes should be avoided. Use of gloves, goggles and other protective gear is mandatory. In case of accidental eye contact thorough water washing is advised. This should be followed R upwith professional medical assistance. TecR Krackfiller is non-flammable.

Storage and Shelf life

TecR Krackfiller must be stored where temperatures do not drop below +8°C.Store under cover, out of direct sunlight and protect from extremes of temperature. Shelf life is 12 months when stored as above. Failure to comply with therecommended storage conditions may result in premature deterioration of the product or packaging.

Tools and equipments can be cleaned with water.
