THERMAL INSULATING COATING
KEY BENEFITS AND FEATURES
- High water resistance. The expanded microspheres present in the coating do not absorb water
- Have higher water vapour permeability than corresponding standard coatings.
- Dirt pick-up resistance. The UV-cross-linking technology of the acrylic binder has been optimized to guarantee a low dirt pick-up performance.
- Extrudation: Very low extrudation when applied at low temperature and high humidity.
- Shortened drying time. Due to the high volume solids of the expanded microspheres the drying time is shortened.
USAGE
- Surfaces like concrete, wood and metal sheets of exterior roofs and walls of houses, buildings, industrial facilities and warehouses could be protected by Heat reflective coatings.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
SURFACE PREPARATION
Clean the surface thoroughly for any loose particles, fungal growth, and small vegetations. Water wash it thoroughly.
MIXING
The thermal insulation coating could be mixed and prepared with rotational devices like dissolver, butterfly mixer or planetary mixer. Mix 1 kg of TEC R CHILL with 400 ml of water to attain brushable consistency.
APPLICATION
It is recommendable to apply a layer at dry thickness 1,0 1,5 mm to achieve a sufficient insulation. The insulation coating is easy to apply with a roller, brush or by spraying.
COVERAGE
One kg of TEC R Chill covers an area of 50 sft per coat.
