TEC CURE WB
TEC CURE WB
CURING COMPOUND-WAX BASED
KEY BENEFITS AND FEATURES
- Forms into a break-free, non- penetrating film on coming into contact with the cementitous surface ensuring moisture retention.
- Improves cement hydration, thereby reducing shrinkage and improving durability.
- The formed film disintegrates naturally but remains long enough to ensure optimum curing.
- Once applied, no external curing is required.
- Eliminates risk of inconsistency in curing and enhances concrete quality.
- Eliminates risk of shrinkage cracks.
- Single component and easy to apply by spraying.
- Single spray application over the concrete/ masonry surface will suffice for the entire curing period. There is no need to over-coat.
USAGE
- Ideal for curing newly cast concrete by spraying immediately after removal of forms.
- Useful substitute for water curing in huge highway projects, kerbs, road dividers, bridges, pavements, etc where water curing cannot be relied upon.
- Ideal for use in small repair jobs like spalling rectification, repairs in occupied buildings, etc., where water curing may not be practically possible.
- Compatible curing system with Techny's repair products- Tec R Grout MC and Tec R Mortar X.
- Ideal for curing sloped and vertical surfaces like in case of Canal linings, chimneys, silos, towers, columns and beams.
- Where surface finishes like paints, epoxy coatings, textures, putty finishes or further plasters/ mortars need to applied, the remaining membrane must be removed by wire brushing.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Tec R Cure WB must be spray applied over the fresh concrete surface when it free of surface water. Usually this would be 60- 90 minutes from placement, but will depend largely on ambient conditions. While using shutter’s or mould’s the spray application of Tec R Cure WB may be done soon after removal of forms or moulds. The sprayer nozzle must be held at 0.4 0.5 M away from the concrete surface. Complete, break free coverage of the surface should be insured to obtain maximum performance form the curing agent. A single spray application would suffice. AKnapsack sprayer would suit the purpose.
