TEC CHILL COATING

  • The concrete surface to be coated shall be cleaned to be free of dust, loosely adhering materials, cement droppings and fine dust.
  • The cleaned surface should be wetted but should be free of water puddles. The primer coat of TEC® CHILL – Thermal Insulation coating system shall be applied and be allowed to reach tack-free stage.
  • Two top coats of TEC® CHILL should be provided over the primer coat, all as per mix and application instructions for the product.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR LAYING THE TILE

  • Do not soak the tiles in water like other ordinary Press Tiles.
  • Make proper slope by using bed-mortar and pour cement slurry on it.
  • Make key over slurry for grip and place the Tile properly.
  • The spacer should be used for fixing the tiles neatly.
  • Never tap the tiles with an iron hammer. Never rub the tiles with nails, iron rods, putty blade or wire brush.
  • Press the four ends of the tile is enough for proper fixing. If needed, use the Rubber Hammer gently
  • Fix the tiles row by row from the parapet wall and come reverse.
  • Do not use the tile as a Stepping Stone on the mortar. Perhaps if you did so, do not use those tiles for laying.
  • Don’t walk or put heavy objects over the laid tiles on the same day.
  • After fixing one row, clean the tiles with a wet sponge to avoid stains.
  • Use Tec Tile 12 Cool for filling the joints.
  • While fixing the Skirting Tile, use only Tec Bond 25 adhesive.
  • Curing can be done on the third day.
  • If it rains before filling the joints, please fill the joints after two days. During that time, avoid walking on the tiles.
  • For cleaning the tile surface, always use acid-less soap water with a sponge.
