DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Surface Preparation
The surface should be sound, free from dirt, oils and greases. In case any concrete curing, membranes are used, should be removed by Wire brushing. Surface should be washed thoroughly to be free of fine dust.
Mixing
Pour Part-B Liquid into a clean metal drum add requisite quantity of water and start stirring. Add Part-A Powder gradually while stirring simultaneously- preferably with a slow speed drill to a lump free consistency. Mix only the required quantity that can be used within the pot life. Continue stirring while applying. Do not retemper with Part A, Part B or water.
Mixing Ratio
Part – A – Powder 20 Kgs
Part – B – Liquid 4 Parts
Water – 4 Parts
* Similar proportion for small pack
Application
The surface to be coated should be made damp without allowing water puddles. The mixed material should then be applied with a Short Bristled Brush in short strokes. The second coat should be applied perpendicular to the first coat when the first coat has attained tack free state. The two coats will result in an overall DFT of 1mm. Avoid application at temperatures above 40°C or below 10°C. TECR WAVE 2000 can also be applied by Trowelling for cases of high water heads and hydrostatic pressure. The screed thickness should not be less than 2mm. At temperatures around 30°C the drying time would be 4-6 hours.
Post Application
The membrane should be cured for a minimum period of 72 hours.
